舞年红 ROUGE

缘起 Origin...

石头舞团迈入创团十周年，秉着[处处剧场、全民起舞] 的宗旨，舞下乡的坚持从未间断。自2003年开始，“舞年红”是石头舞团每年开始的重头好戏，这场舞蹈盛会，除了在吉隆坡演出外，也走入大小乡镇表演。通过洋溢新春气息的舞蹈跟大家拜年之余，也藉舞蹈传播中华文化，提醒年轻一辈珍惜身边的亲人，孝亲敬老。

剧场是一个没有族群分野的欢聚场合；石头舞团每年的“舞年红”在大小乡镇吸引了不少爱好舞蹈的友族同胞欢聚一堂共度佳节，在一个马来西亚的精神里，道贺团拜，用艺术拉近人与人彼此间的距离。

新年将至，石头舞团第六届的“舞年红—春暖”又要开跑了，让石头家族跳舞会友，各族朋友赏舞拜年，全家大小欢聚在一个无疆界的表演剧场里，欢庆属于一个马来西亚的春节。

Stepping into the 10th year of Batu Dance Theatre, we remain vivid in our ethos of [THEATRE EVERYWHERE, DANCE FOR ALL], thus continue to link our map around the rural and urban site, bring dance theatre wherever and whenever we could. With ROUGE, our annual dance showcase that started its pioneer showcase in 2003, Batu Dance Theatre’s dances had and continues to become the warmth of folks from all walks of life, trespass generation differences as it builds cultural association, setting the jubilation for everyone come together in a celebration amid the kaleidoscope of our colourful cultural background.

Performing arts is the platforms which desegregate differences; hence ROUGE always in the past received overwhelming response from everyone, regardless of race, culture and belief. In ROUGE, it is shown that once again arts serve its purpose to celebrate life, humanity, embrace differences and building understanding.

Chinese lunar celebration being just around the corner, Batu Dance Theatre will bring the joy and celebration of ROUGE VI to all platforms around Malaysia, recalled the Batu Family tradition, revisited old places and new ones, rekindle the warmth of the festivity in Chinese New Years for all Malaysian.
